We are currently looking for a driven Junior Procurement Category Manager for our Procurement department. You will work in a professional and ambitious team, jointly managing the procurement of services and products for the entire Van den Bosch organization.
When you start at Van den Bosch, you will begin your first week with an extensive introduction program at our own Academy. Here, you'll learn everything about Van den Bosch and our core business: intermodal bulk transport.
As a Junior Procurement Category Manager, you will be co-responsible for all forms of purchasing, hiring, and contracting that take place at Van den Bosch. Together with the rest of the Procurement team, you will be responsible for contracting intermodal services such as rail and shipping connections, trucking by subcontractors, tank cleaning, fuel, and much more. You will assist in developing cost-saving strategies, building relationships with suppliers, and optimizing procurement processes.
You will work closely with colleagues from various departments and ensure that procurement decisions contribute to the company’s objectives. You are an energetic professional who thinks in opportunities and is highly driven to perform. You are capable of working independently and negotiating the best deals for Van den Bosch in terms of value creation. You will have enough freedom and responsibility to make your contribution!
